Salem County Hancocks Bridge

IEW Construction Group commenced repair of the Hancocks Bridge over Lower Alloway Creek in the fall of 2003. The project entailed some bearing replacement and scour remediation. Due to the low lying bridge, IEW had to formulate a way to deliver the heavy rip rap scour protection under the bridge to the pier foundations. With the talent and experience of our management and superintendents, IEW developed a system that safely and accurately placed the rip rap. Construction was finished by the summer of 2004.
