NJDOT Route 30 Absecon over Beach Thorofare

The Route 30/Absecon Boulevard Bridge is a bascule drawbridge leading into Atlantic City, NJ. This project included the replacement of the Motor Control Center, Automatic Transfer Switch Motors and Drives, installation of new rated barrier gates, interior and exterior renovation of the gate operator house and a pier column seismic retrofit with FRP wrap. IEW also stepped up to train and manage bridge operators for the duration of the project.
