NJ Turnpike Interchange 6-9 Widening Projects T869.120.401
T869.120.401was part of the NJ Turnpike Interchange 6 to 9 Widening Program. In addition to the roadway widening and grading, this contract allowed for reconstruction of the Edgebrook Road and Robbinsville-Allentown Road bridges over the NJ Turnpike mainline. Massive steel girders were placed, spanning 560’ over 6 lanes of turnpike traffic, working in coordination with NJ State Police traffic slowdowns. Over 1900 cubic yards of high performance concrete went into the bridges, which, in addition to the bridges over the NJ Turnpike, also included construction of a portion of the Toll North Ramp for Interchange 7A over Route I-195, and a Robbinsville-Allentown Road bridge over contract site work in preparation for future ramps.
