NJ Turnpike Interchange 6-9 Widening Projects T869.120.101

T869.120.101was part of the NJ Turnpike Interchange 6 to 9 Widening Program. IEW worked on building new north and south bound outer roadways from mileposts 51.5 to 52.3 for the NJ Turnpike 6 to 9 Widening by adding three lanes north and south bound. This contract also required the removal of older Art-Deco style overhead sign structures. These structures, comprised of prodigious amounts of steel, had to be removed over live traffic and required careful coordination and attention to safety.
