NJ Turnpike Interchange 6-9 Widening Project T869.120.501

T869.120.501 was one of the first projects in the NJ Turnpike Interchange 6 to 9 Widening Program to be awarded. As with all of IEW’s Turnpike Widening projects, a jack and bore was utilized to drive 30” reinforced concrete pipe beneath 6 lanes of live Turnpike traffic. In addition to the roadway widening and grading, construction of extensions over culverts, noise barriers, sign structures and installation of signs, drainage and roadway lighting were key items in the project.
